Bottle it up!
We just got these great vintage inspired milk bottles in the store! Not only does milk do a body good, but these are great for a DIY project! You can always use them as carafes for yummy drinks or ice water on a hot, sunny day.
Here are some ideas for things you can do with old milk bottles!
Make a light fixture! Lighting kits are easy to find at hardware stores, and you'll just need a piece of wood with two holes that the mouths of the jars can sit tightly in!
Use them as flower vases!
What about a bird feeder? I bet you could also do this with humming bird food also! You just have to make sure to secure the bottle or else the birds might knock it over.

Fashion Week!
No one does Ready to Wear garments like Americans. This week in New York it's Mercedes Benz fashion week. Here's a few highlights from the shows.
The Rodarte show is one I always look forward to seeing. They are two sisters, not formally trained in fashion and new comers to the industry. This year they pulled out a lot of suits, exaggerated collars and earthy prints on slim dresses. Some of the looks were a little 'grandma-y' while others were classic and clean. The carmel leather shoes were to die for!

Michael Kors debuted fall with a rugged glamour for this collection. There was a lot of red plaid and red buffalo check, and a daring mixing on the two. Large coats and fur collars with shapes that harken back to 1940's starlets but then toughened up with black leather and furry boots.

Theyskens' Theory is a label that is consistently wearable, contemporary, and smart. It epitomizes cool and professional. There were some more daring sheer, meshy pieces, and sprinkling of leather but nothing that wouldn't do for a night out. Dresses hit around the natural waist, there were over sized sweaters and coats. This is a great collection for inspiration on how to mix your weekend wardrobe into your work attire.

THE CANDLE.

Valentines Day
Valentines Day is just around the corner. We can exhale a collective 'Ugh' because, let's face it - There are only two outcomes for this holiday. Either hugely wonderful love-filled day or total and utter disappointment. So, whether you're out with the girls or having a special evening with your love. The big question is, what are you going to wear?! Here are a few looks from the store...
Casual and Comfy
Dusty rose button down top, brown cords that look romantic while still being casual. To add a little glamour go with pink earrings, and a cute sparkly ring!
Classy and Cool
This sparkly beaded cream top is totally chic, and grey skinny pants are a nice change from the black slacks routine. A pink wrap to keep the chill off your shoulders and to add a pop of color. Each of the scarves have a love quote on the tag, this one says, "The ultimate miracle of love is this: that love is given to us to give to one another." Awe, so sweet! Top it off with pearl and crystal dangly earrings and a chunky ring to match.
Dressed Up
This sexy little black bustier dress will turn heads. Add a black blazer to cover, and black tights for a more sophisticated look. Top it off with gold and black earrings and a black chunky three stone ring.
Romantic
This floaty dove grey trapeze dress is such a sweet version of the typical Friday night cocktail dress. Pair it with an eggplant colored scarf. The quote on this one says "love always has spare time." Then add a statement piece with this lavender necklace. A mini chain strap purse will look great against the fullness of the dress.
